It is my pleasure to announce Aries Walker as Student of the Month for Art class. Aries always strives to do her best and does so with a good attitude. Aries is kind and considerate to her classmates. She is thoughtful to those around her by encouraging them with kind words when they are struggling with an art project or other school work. She goes above and beyond what is asked of her and goes out of her way to be helpful to other students, teachers, and staff. Aries’ parents are Anthony and Amanda Walker. She has a younger sister and brother that love to spend time with her along with her dogs, Bandit and Max and her cats, Tails and Sonic. Her favorite color is green and her favorite food is Amanda’s spaghetti! Her hobbies are coloring and drawing because they help her to relax. Aries loves to learn any subject which made it hard for her to pick a favorite. However, she said Art is at the top of the list since she loves to show off her masterpieces for school. When she is grown she would love to own her own cooking school to teach people of all ages to cook. When asked what advice she might give to younger students she said to “Be good so you get the fun stuff. The bigger you get you have more responsibilities.”

Because of Aries’ kindness and respect for others, she is a complete joy to have in class and is very deserving to be recognized as student of the month. Congratulations, Aries!
