The Elementary Art Department is proud to nominate Kieya Berlin as its Student of the Month for April, 2024. Kieya Berlin is the daughter of Jennifer and Jimmy Berlin. Her siblings include Echo, Trenton, Daxton and Levanie. Kieya lives with her family in Fostoria. She loves playing basketball and drawing. She also wants to learn to play the trumpet in music class. Her favorite foods are bosco sticks and cookies and cream ice cream. Kieya's favorite color is red and her favorite subject is math. Kieya loves math because it can be challenging, but when she learns a new skill, she feels great. 

Kieya has been selected as my Art Student of the Month for several reasons. 

She has a great attitude and puts forth great effort while working without hesitation or complaint. She is always willing to help her peers and staff no matter the task; she 

often volunteers to stay after class to help clean the art room. Kieya not only follows all the art class rules and expectations, she goes above and beyond being an ideal role model for her peers. 

Kieya states the best part of 5th grade are the teachers. When asked what 

advice she would give the upcoming 4th graders, she replied "try your best, work hard, always stay healthy and be nice to each other." When asked about her future career 

plans, Kieya stated that she wants to be a police officer because it sounds fun, but also hard. Thanks Kieya for being a great all around student!
