Madisyn West has been chosen as one of the 2024-20245 students of the month from Mrs. Miller’s first grade class. Madi is the daughter of Nick and Blair West. She has one older sister Isabella, and two older brothers Keaton and Avery. She has two dogs. Their names are Huck and Ellie. Madi’s favorite food is spaghetti because she loves to slurp the noodles through her teeth. Her favorite restaurant is Murdogs because they have the best toast and eggs. Her favorite color is purple. She has many hobbies. She loves to play outside. She also loves cheerleading. She currently cheers for the Vassar boys football team. If she is stuck inside, she enjoys reading. She loves to read with her mom and dad. This is not a surprise, as she has become a beautiful reader this year. Her favorite subject in school is Art. She loves art because she loves to paint and do projects. Madi wants to be a nurse when she grows up. Her aunt is a nurse and she is sure it is the perfect job for her! Madi was chosen to be student of the month for a variety of reasons. She has a wonderfully kind heart and is a friend to everyone. She works hard, and volunteers for any task in the classroom. She is an excellent helper. She has made so much progress this year in all academics. She has worked so hard in class, and it shows! Madi is truly a pleasure to have in class and so very deserving of this award. Congratulations Madi!!!
