I am honored to present River Stec as one of Mayville Elementary School’s first grade students of the month. I chose River because he is respectful and hardworking. River tries his best in class. I also chose him because he is kind to everyone and a really great source of comedic relief. River is the son of Connie and Wayne Stec. He has 2 brothers; Hudson and Lincoln. He also has 1 goat, 12 chickens, a goose, 2 ducks, 2 dogs, and a cat that he helps take care of. River’s favorite food is spaghetti.. If he could choose any restaurant to go out to eat at he would choose McDonalds because the nuggets and fries are so good. His favorite thing about school is going to reading groups. His favorite subject is math. His favorite book is a reader he got from Mrs. Miller named Kit. His favorite color is blue. At home he likes to ride his dirt bike on the pond and try not to fall through the ice. At school he likes to play with his friends, especially Hayes and Coltyn. When he grows up he wants to be a mechanic and work on cars and harleys. It is a joy to have River in class and he is a wonderful representation for Mayville Elementary School.
