Westin Wolkens has been chosen as one of the 2024-2025 students of the month from Mrs. Miller’s first grade class. Westin is the son of Jena and Andrew Wolkens. He has one older brother named Laythan. He has one dog named Copper and one cat named Meow-key. Westin’s favorite food is Chinese. He loves orange chicken and noodles. His favorite restaurant is Buffalo Wild Wings because they have the best bbq chicken wings. His favorite color is blue. He has many hobbies. He loves to play video games and watch TV. He also enjoys playing outside. When summer arrives, he plans to play soccer. His favorite subject in school is math because he loves learning. He says it is very hard but he can do it! Westin has become an excellent reader. He has been working very hard and it shows. Westin wants to be a youtuber when he grows up. He wants to make awesome stuff and post it for everyone to see. Westin was chosen to be student of the month for a variety of reasons. He is an excellent helper and a great friend. He is a good listener and active participant in class. He is a very hard worker and takes pride in his work. Westin is truly a pleasure to have in class and so very deserving of this award. Congratulations Westin!!!
