I am pleased to introduce Leland Howell as one of my Students of the Month for the month of January. Leland is the son of Sherry Maciejewski and Timothy Howell. He has a younger sister Aspen. Leland has several pets, including his dogs Max, Zoey, Oaklyn, and Miska. He also has two cats, Clyde and Smoke. Leland is a positive friend, hardworking student, and kind young man. He is always encouraging others and providing a positive outlook. He works very hard to ensure he understands his work and puts his best effort into it. He is quick to offer his help in any situation, and continuously chooses wisely throughout our day. Leland is an excellent example of a student who meets our C.A.T.S. expectations. He chooses wisely, acts responsibly, treats others with respect, and stays safe. Leland’s favorite subject in school is math. He said, “ Sometimes it gives me a hard time, but I love it!” In the future, Leland would like to be a Police Officer when he grows up. Leland’s current hobby outside of school is wrestling. He enjoys participating in it and learning more about it. He also enjoys playing Fortnite in his free time! His favorite color is blue. He enjoys cheeseburgers and pizza. He also enjoys going to Dairy Queen. Leland is an avid fan of hitting the gritty as well. I have immensely enjoyed having Leland in my classroom this year. He is an exceptional young man with a brilliant future ahead of him!
