I am pleased to introduce Madison Smith as one of my Students of the Month for the month of January. Madison is the daughter of Nicole and Brandon Smith. She has two sisters, Adrianna and Olivia. Madison has seven cats: Batman, Willow, Sweet Pea, Pumpkin, Little Ricky, Princess and Little Kev. Madison is a kind young lady. She is attentive in class, works hard, and is always ready to participate! She is an amazing example of a student who meets our C.A.T.S. expectations. She chooses wisely, acts responsibly, treats others with respect, and stays safe. She always puts her best effort into her work and asks questions to understand better. She participates in our group discussions and is a great friend to others in our class. Madison's favorite subject in class is math. She said , “Some is easy, and some is hard. It makes me think.” When she grows up, Madison would like to be a Police Officer. Madison's current hobby outside of school is doing cartwheels. She enjoys practicing them! She also likes using her scooter. Madison enjoys helping her grandma, and spending time with her family. Her favorite color is purple. In her free time, Madison likes to watch TV and play on her tablet. I have immensely enjoyed having Madison in my reading group this year! She is a marvelous young lady and has a shining future ahead of her!
