I am pleased to announce that I have chosen Mason Maples to be one of my Students of the Month for 2nd grade. Mason is the son of Zach and Erica Maples. He has a younger sister named Khloe and another little sibling on the way! He also has his Papa and Nana across the street. He has 2 dogs, Daisy and Shadow. 

Mason is an absolute joy to have in class! He always listens and follows directions. He raises his hand and doesn’t talk out of turn. He is great walking to and from specials and lunch and is safe on the playground. He comes to school in a good mood and is kind to everyone. He also does a super job following all of the CATS expectations, choosing wisely, acting responsibly, treating others with respect, and staying safe. He also participates in class and raises his hand to answer questions. 

His favorite subject in school is math. He likes to read and answer the questions. When he gets older, he wants to be a Nascar driver! 

When he is not in school, he likes to play with his trucks. He also likes to play football and soccer. He favorite color is camo. His favorite food is watermelon. 

I love having Mason in class. He is just so polite and silly and just fun to be around! He will do great things in the future, I’m sure of it!
