I have chosen Ryan Alexander as my Kindergarten Student of the Month. Ryan is 6 years old, and the son of Duane and Courtney Alexander. He is the oldest of three kids and has a younger brother named Memphis Robert and a sister named Kylie Lyn. His family has two dogs, Brownie and Smokey, who is a puppy. At home, he has fun riding his quad, and he likes to play in the snow or the dirt with his Monster Trucks. Ryan’s favorite color is blue, and his favorite foods are hamburgers, chicken nuggets and hotdogs. When he grows up, he would like to be a police officer and take people to jail. At school, Ryan loves to play with the kitchen during free play. He likes playing basketball with Mr. Silman and Mr. Hoag. At recess, he likes to go down the slide and play on the swings. But what he loves most about school is his Ms. Pyles, who has been his personal aide for the last two years. He likes to read Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom with her every day, and he likes learning how to write his numbers on the whiteboard. Ryan has been in my class for the last two years. During that time, he has grown and matured, and I am so proud of him for what he has done. He is a funny kid, and I know that when he walks into my room, he will have a one-liner or a greeting that will make me smile. I am just part of the team that works with Ryan, but it has been my pleasure to have him in my class. And so, it is for these reasons that I happily present Ryan Alexander to you as my Kindergarten Student of the Month.
