I am honored to present Skyelyn Hubbard as my Student of the Month. Skyelyn is the daughter of Jonathan and Rachel Hubbard. She has an older sister named Paisley who is in second grade.  She has a dog named Daisy who she loves. She loves spending time with her family and playing outdoors. 

Skyelyn is five years old. Her favorite color is purple. Her favorite food is “hamburgers with cheese but nothing else on it”. In her free time at home, she enjoys playing with her babies. At school, she likes to work on math. Her favorite subject is Reading and her favorite Special is Gym. When she grows up, she would like to be a doctor. 

Skyelyn was chosen for this honor for many reasons. She always follows classroom rules and CATS behavior expectations. She is a hard working student who always puts forth her best effort. She listens attentively and participates actively in class. She is a great friend to everyone in class and is always kind. You will overhear her inviting classmates to color with her and also helping friends solve problems. She is a natural helper and goes above and beyond every day keeping our classroom clean without being asked. It has been a pleasure watching Skyelyn grow academically and socially. One would never know that she is the youngest child in our class by the amount of maturity she shows daily. Whatever future path she follows, she will accomplish great things.
