James Bodeis III
James (JD) Bodeis has been selected as the 12th grade student of the month. JD is the son of Wendy and Jamie Bodeis. JD has become a great young man, setting a positive example for all of his classmates and the younger students.
JD has been involved in many activities over the years. He has been a member of the Football, Track and Baseball teams for 4 years each. He is currently one of the track captains and also served as a captain of the football team. JD is very coachable and puts into action what is asked of him.
JD has attended the Tech Center for 2 years. Last year he was in the Computer Technology Management class and did such a nice job that he was selected for a co-op job at the Tech center as one of the “IT guys.” This has been a great opportunity for him, as JD plans to continue in this field once he leaves high school. His current plan is to go to Mott Community College to get an associates in Computer Information Systems. JD would love to get a job as our “IT guy” in the future, and if that doesn’t work out an IT Manager or Support Specialist are also areas he would be interested in.
When asked about what staff member has influenced him the most throughout school, he said “Probably Ms.Campbell she has taught me multiple things in my time here at Mayville. She has taught me about math and honestly just showed me how to be a good person.”
Congratulations JD and good luck as you move to your next endeavor.
