The MHS staff proudly announces that sophomore Payton Cook earned the title Student of the Month for February. Payton is a diligent worker who is respectful and courteous to classmates and staff alike. Payton is the son of Christopher and Roxanne Cook and the brother of Caiden, Maximus, and Alexander Cook. Payton is interested in joining the football team next year and weightlifting. English and weightlifting are his favorite classes. Payton’s future plans include pursuing a career in HVAC engineering. Payton enjoys spending time with his family, making jokes, and playing games in his spare time. When asked what his favorite part of being a Wildcat is, he said he likes how most students and teachers are kind and respectful and will help in any way they can. From the Mayville High School staff, we congratulate Payton on being selected as February’s student of the month. We are confident he will continue to impress his teachers, parents, and peers with his hard work and dedication.
