Keaton West has been nominated by all the teachers in 6th grade as our male representative for student of the month. Keaton is the son of Nick and Blair West, and is the sibling to Avery, Izzy, and Madisyn West. Keaton is a kind, focused, and funny young man who enjoys hunting, fishing, riding in his side-by-side, playing video games, and farming. Keaton's favorite subject in school is social studies because he likes to learn about different countries and their cultures. His favorite thing about 6th grade is that he gets more time during lunch. His advice for future middle school students is to be aware that it is not as easy as elementary school. Keaton's future goal for a career is to be a farmer because he is passionate about farming. Keaton has been selected as the student of the month for his polite, kind personality, and his work ethic. Keaton is always respectful to his teachers and makes teaching him an enjoyable experience. He enjoys participating in class, but is never afraid to ask for clarification when he needs it. Keaton is also accepting of everyone around him and is well-liked among all his peers. His willingness to always try, respectful behavior, and personal responsibility are just a few of the reasons the teachers unanimously nominated Keaton as the male student of the month.
