The MHS staff is proud to announce that junior Joymeline Asensio has been named Student of the Month for March. She is the daughter of Jose and Melanie Asensio. Joymeline has one sibling, Kris. The high school teachers chose Joymeline as student of the month because of her outstanding work ethic, dedication to her studies, and respect toward peers and teachers. Joymeline is interested in joining some clubs at school or participating in community service projects. Her favorite class is chemistry. Outside of school, Joymeline enjoys both cooking and painting. She is looking forward to pursuing a career as a private chef or a hairstylist. When asked what she liked most about being a Wildcat, she said, “I like how every staff member always makes sure they show care and concern for every student.” On behalf of the Mayville High School staff, we congratulate Joymeline Asensio for being selected as March’s student of the month.
