William Charles Cobb is the son of Phillip Cobb. William is the big brother to four siblings: Payton, Penelope, Jonah, and Oliver. William’s hobbies and special interests include soccer and karate; currently he has reached the level of orange belt in karate.William’s favorite subject in school is science and he really enjoys experiments. Other aspects of science William finds interesting are chemical reactions, outer space and activities in nature. The thing that William likes most about his grade is that the Language Art stories are better in 7th grade than in 6th grade. He also enjoys the writing assignments and presentations that he is able to do in ELA class with Mrs. Richardson. Some advice that William recommends to future middle school students is that Ms. Buggia expects you to know a lot of information. He also recommends that you be aware of the marbles, so behave in Ms. Buggia’s class. Always bring your planner and don’t waste passes; you only get 10 per 9 weeks! One of William’s goals for the future is to go to the tech center to possibly take auto body/shop class. Additionally, William would like to attend college for two years and have general prerequisite classes satisfied in case he decides to attend college over a trade school. William has several choices for a career he is considering. The first is a racecar driver and his second choice is to be a teacher. 

The middle school team nominated William for student of the month due to his continuous effort and progress. William shows up every day to class with a can-do attitude. His positive demeanor is infectious and he is well liked by staff and students. William almost always has a smile on his face and is willing to help if someone needs it. He is a considerate and hard working young man. The middle school team is very proud of William and congratulates him for this accomplishment in being nominated for November's student of the month.
