Hunter Butterfield

This month, we are thrilled to recognize Hunter Butterfield as our outstanding Student of the Month for sixth grade at Mayville Middle School! He is the son of Rikki and Curtis Butterfield and the older brother of Brock and baby Haley. Hunter enjoys performing magic tricks, hunting, wrestling, and baseball. His favorite subject in school is reading because he finds enjoyment in reading different stories. His favorite thing about sixth grade is that he feels it is more interactive and involved in campus happenings, such as his lesson that involved Mr. Ian in the food service department. His advice to future middle school students is to be quieter than the current sixth grade students. His future career goal is to become an electrician or a linemen because it is a good paying and interesting job.

Hunter has consistently demonstrated the qualities that make him shine both in and out of the classroom. His dedication to his studies shows through his attention to detail and willingness to help classmates who are struggling with assignments. What truly sets Hunter apart is his genuine kindness and respectful mannerisms. His intelligence isn't just shown through his academic achievements, but also through his thoughtful questions and creative approaches during class discussions. Hunter's positive attitude and hardworking spirit make him a role model for his fellow students, proving that success comes from combining effort with character. Congratulations, Hunter, on this well-deserved recognition!
