The Mayville High School staff is proud to announce that freshman James Roy is October’s student of the month.  He is the son of Jim and Tami Roy.  James has a sister named Jaydn.  The high school teacher’s decision to choose James as student of the month was an easy one considering his hard work and dedication to his school work.  Despite the obvious reason why James was chosen, he is not only a great student, but also a very nice and respectful student, always willing to help other classmates or teachers out.  So far in his early career as a high school student, James has been involved in sports and is on the football team and is a part of the track team as well.  When asked what his favorite things to do when he has free time, James said that he likes to hunt and play video games.  James said that after graduating from high school, he wants to move out of the state and do some exploring.  He also said that he would like to go to some sort of trade school and pursue a job from there.  From the Mayville High School staff, we would like to congratulate James Row on being selected as October’s student of the month.  Congratulations, James!
